Spinal
We are proud to be one of the few orthopaedic providers in the region to offer spinal surgery as part of the West Midlands Regional Spinal Network. We perform around 900 spinal procedures every year at the MOC.
We have one dedicated spinal surgeon at the MOC, with other specialists offering a range of spinal treatments and interventions. There are dedicated back pain clinics with surgery for degenerative back conditions including microdiscectomy and disc decompressions. We have a well-established fast track caudel epidural service for extended scope practitioners through close working relationships with the Orthopaedic Assessment Service (OAS) based at the Brierley Hill Health and Social Care Centre.
