Lisa's role with total joint replacement patients covers the whole of the pathway from pre-surgery through to post-operative follow up.
Lisa is an experienced senior nurse with almost 30 years of experience in trauma and orthopaedics.
She gained her Bachelor of Nursing degree in 2000 and went on to achieve her Masters degree in Health sciences/Advanced practice 2009 at the University of Birmingham.
Lisa has had various posts in trauma and orthopaedics and has also worked as an ANP and Matron at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, Birmingham.
Lisa is an established qualified non-medical prescriber which enables timely treatment for her patients.
She works alongside the nursing and medical team on the orthopaedic in-patient ward, and leads on nurse led clincs and pre-operative education classes (Joint School).
>Lisa has delivered both national and international presentations at orthopaedic conferences and is a member of the Royal College of Nursings Advanced Nurse Practitioner forum, and the Society of Orthopaedic and Trauma nursing.
Outside of work Lisa likes to spend time with her family and her dog Logan.
