Katrina manages the Trauma & Orthopaedic outpatient services which includes fracture clinics at Russells Hall Hospital and Elective Orthopaedic clinics at both Russells Hall and Corbett Hospitals.
Katrina completed her Nurse training at Wolverhampton University in February 2011 with a diploma in Nursing (RN Dip HE). She commenced on Elective Orthopaedic ward B1 as a Nurse later progressing to Sister in 2013.
In 2015 Katrina completed her Orthopaedic degree (BSc) prior to joining the Trauma & Orthopaedic Outpatients Department as Team Lead, then progressing on to Lead Nurse. She has a passion for innovation and service improvement and was pivotal in the development of the Midlands first 'Virtual Fracture Clinic', which was implemented in 2017 and has improved patient experience and enabled the service to review patients within British Orthopaedic Association (BOA) guidelines.
Outside of work she enjoys going to the gym, home improvements and spending time with her grandchildren.
