Dr Gail Parsons

Nurse Consultant & Director of Research and Development

Gail provides advice in relation to the patient journey when undergoing hip, knee and shoulder replacement surgery. Evidence based practices are at the centre of striving to improve the patient experience.

Gail has a wealth of nursing experience spanning 40 years, working in various nursing roles to include; Nursing Sister, Directorate Nurse Manager, Advanced Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Nurse Specialist. Gail has spent time working in hospitals in the USA and has delivered presentations in relation to nursing care and evidence based practice in Abu Dhabi (UAE) and various States in the USA.

Gail has published academic papers and a recent book chapter, in relation to Osteoarthritis and symptom management prior to hip and knee replacement surgery.

Gail completed her PhD in 2011 and has continued to maintain research active as a Principal Investigator for orthopaedic and Trauma related studies.
